termination of contract

My gut feeling would have been not to take her to the new apartment in the first place. But after you were good to her and let her come, when she pleaded, then she does nothing but complain, I would definitely not renew her contract, in fact if she was,nt due for renewal soon I would terminate her, as she is refusing to perform duties for which she is employed.

As you are in a smaller place you may find it more beneficial to have one of the legal part timers, then you don't even have to have the hassle of them living in, plus the part time legal ones generally work a lot faster than some lazy full time live ins.

You sound like a really nice employer, you have given her enough, above and beyond.....you no longer need her. You can sleep well at night. All the best!
