Dependant visa wants to apply a FDH

Hi I am a FDH here in HK and my visa will end on Dcember 15 2012.Unfortunately my employer does'nt want to renew my contract anymore but his wife wants to hire me as her helper.The thing is the wife is just holding s dependant visa from her husband(who is my current employer) but they are not living together anymore.They are separated for almost 1 year.Is it possible for the wife to hire me as her helper eventhough she is just holding a dependant visa> The wife's dependant visa will expire on September 2014.

How much money in the bank is needed by her to provide? As of now she is working as a Manager and earning 20,000 monthly

Yes 15,000 per calendar month is enough to hire one domestic helper.

To my understanding, it is simple and straight forward case. you will be living and working at the same premises, all you need is simply transfer your employer from husband to wife. i do not see any difficulty there. it is pretty much simple as you will apply extension with your existing employer.
