Hello,
Our helper is about to finish her contract and we're not renewing her.
So what is her last working day with us ? Is it the date on the contract or the date on her visa (1 month later) ? I'm asking this question to know until when I have to pay her.
thanks

Actually, I went to immigration last week and asked about this. They told me it would be the work visa expiry date (which is usually later than the contract date). My situation might be a little different since she has worked for me for 2 contracts already, and I just wanted to extend her contract for a month.
You should double check your case with immigration.

Actually if you read the Green Contract that you signed you can see there are three options. Clause 2. The two year contract starts either:
A) on the day she arrived in Hong Kong, if she is coming from abroad,
B) on the date following the date of expiry of her previous contract (if employed with the same employer) or
C) the date on which she is granted the visa to work under this contract.
So it will be two years from the relevant one of those dates.

Mine was the last day of the visa.

I've now checked with immigration, it's the last day of the visa, so it can be quite different from the date of the contract. Interesting to know !
You can release your helper 28 days before this date (visa date).
