non government medical care for a DH

I want to ask your collective experitise for advise for a DH who has some sort of thyroid tumor and has been told by the Gov clinic she needs to wait until November to be seen again by a Dr. Is there any subsidized/charity medical care for the DH in Hong Kong?

The OP is indeed responsible for the costs. You should check if your helper insurance covers all or part of it.

How much does it cost to but health insurance for helper? Is it included in the monthly salary of $3600 or is it to be bought on top of it?

It is to be bought on top of. In other words you are responsible for it beyond the salary payment.


Our helper insurance from Zurich includes health coverage and is 1400 for two years.
