It would be unreasonable for her to expect something. Not all employers (or helpers for that matter) are Pagan or Christian and therefore would not celebrate Easter.

I would like my employers to be as generous to me as some people are to their maids...I'll take a couple of extra paid days off, easter eggs and any spare cash that my employer would pass my way anytime...
I think we need to remember there is no obligation to go beyond the contract. By giving your maid the 4 days off you are in fact giving her some cash that she doesn't have to work for, please remember they are employees - not family. They agreed to work for you, I would assume you are not a horrid employer and treat her well, so there is no reason to go too much away from the contract.
I think what you have done is fine - 4 days off and an easter egg is more than my husband got from his employer ;-)

No, we don't give extra (other than time off). We give at Christmas and CNY

You gave your current helper the entire weekend off and you still think you need to give her a bonus for Easter? If I didn't know better, I would want to work for you too.
What your helper would appreciate is more upfront salary and fewer bonuses that are given based on what you read on AsiaXpat.
