I am looking for some ideas for christmas present/s for our helper. We really value her so this is more about being a thoughtful gesture rather than giving cash (as we already reward her well financially).
I have a few ideas but would like to hear from others on their suggestions (especially any helpers on this forum on what they would appreciate).
One idea I had was a framed photo of my helper with my two sons. When I get passport photos, she always ask if there is a spare copy so I thought this might be a nice gesture - on the other hand I don't want it to be all about my kids!! The other idea I had was a voucher for a manicure but not sure how this would be received... ??
She is a filipino older lady....
Many thanks in advance for your ideas!!

The framed photo sounds a nice idea, there is also cosy slippers and a dressing gown for winter.

Last year we got our helper a secondhand laptop (I think off this forum actually!) to take home with her on her holiday and leave there with her kids. Now she can Skype them every night and it makes such a huge difference to her.
She also really appreciates flowers..."little" things that we take for granted that she wouldn't have experienced much or at all back home...
A handbag for her day off? Some nice toiletries?
The photo idea is also lovely.
