Hello, our helper will be starting soon, and we plan to pay her at the end of every month. however, during the first month she wont have money for her expenses...
whats the best process for this? pay her half now then half later? or just pay her the food allowance?
any advise would be good.. thanks

I wonder why you assume she won't have money for her expenses? Did she tell you that? Usually they have very good support from friends and relatives so you don't have to worry about it.
However, if you would like to make that your problem, you can make a promissory note that she signs for a specific amount that she will repay at the end of the month from her salary. (We make our helper sign receipt of her monthly salary.)
