Hi,


Can someone recommend an insurance company with the best price for basic domestic helper insurance? I got my previous helper's from the agency where I got her from and it was just 980hkd for 2 years. But this time around I am direct hiring so I am on my own so they are charging me 1350hkd/2 yrs. Am hoping I can find something below 1,000hkd/2 yrs.

Depends on type of coverage you want, but check out Dao Heng and/or Dah Sing insurance. I'm paying $880 for 2 years as a new customer.

We went thru HSBC and about the same price as the above. Very comprehensive coverage. Worth a look. All the best.

I just went through Kwiksure last week for Helper Insurance and it cost $380 per year.

Basic plan was 285

Extra Care hkd380

Super care hkd680.

The policy is underwritten by AIU.

I spoke to Cindy, she emailed the policy doc and forms. I filled in and sent chq back and it was confirmed in two days.
