I recall CX having special DH fares to Manila and Indonesian - have a look at their site or give a travel agent a call

Foth is correct. We booked a flight a couple months ago for around HKD 1800 for December, and we couldn't even get the exact dates we wanted so book asap. Cathay was a little more expensive than Philippines Air.
