Hoping for some guidance here:

We're looking to hire a gardener part time but are unsure of what a reasonable hourly rate would be to offer. Anyone got any suggestions/advice?

Seriously? On what is this based? I'm not hiring an arborist, landscaper or horticulturist.

I should probably have specified that it'll be a domestic helper kind of situation - unskilled labour mainly tasked with weeding, trimming etc. Maintenance, really.
