Does anyone recommend a company for their DH insurance? What should a basic policy cover?

The big-ticket items to look for are Employer's Liability (eg if your DH is injured or dies while working for you) and Public Liability (eg if your DH accidentally drops a flowerpot from your balcony onto the head of a passer by). As an example, see:
