Air ticket for DH?

We just got a DH about 2 months ago and she asked us if she doesn't want the air ticket back home, then would it be ok to give her the money for it instead. My question is, am I obliged by law to give her a air ticket each year, or at end of contract (2yrs)? And is she entitled to this only after her contract? Thanks.

you need to give them a ticket at the end of the 2 years unless you negotiated otherwse in her contract

November, Thank you for your wise advice on how to be a responsible employer. How delightful to know that we have such responsible citizens in HK. Shame you didn't know the answer to this question, but maybe you just wanted me to be a responsible employer and find out for myself.

Contrary to belief, I did try to read through the guidelines, but it seem pretty unclear so I just wanted to make sure I was doing everything right by the book. Also, what do you mean that she has to go home and come back? You mean she has to leave HK after her 2 yr contract even if I renew it with her? She can't continually stay even if she does not wish to return home? Thanks again.
