How to find a p-t Indian helper

My wife and I don't need a full-time helper (modest-sized place, no children, etc.) but we're currently using someone who comes by part-time once a week for several hours and cleans our home.

We both enjoy Indian food and are thinking of replacing our current pt helper with an Indian pt helper (someone with HK residency), with the idea that they, in addition to the cleaning, could stay a bit longer and prepare some "authentic" Indian dishes for us to enjoy later for dinner.

How would one go about trying to find, specifically, an Indian (as opposed to Sri Lankan) pt helper?

You could post a notice on one of the supermarket boards in TST where there is quite a heavy congregation of Indians. Apart from that you could try the register maintained by the Labour Dept where nationality & language capabilities are included, although I'm not sure that one would bear much fruit for you.

Not sure about p-t indian helper. But here is the email address of an Indian cook bsuor@yahoo.com I haven't used her services myself but found her reference on the mum & dad's forum. I don't think she will do cleaning though.
