Hi There,

My boyfriend and I are seeking a cook (perhaps from Sri Lanka) who can cook for us 2-3 times per week. If you can cook both Indian and western food even better. We have busy work schedules which prevent us from eating at home. We live in Sheung Wan and welcome recommendations.

Wouldn't it be easier just to buy from a restaurant? You can get quite decent Indian dishes for around $80 although perhaps not in your area. In that case though, finding someone local to legally cook for you part-time at a reasonable rate might be quite difficult to find. There is an excellent Indian place in Causeway Bay diagonally opposite to Times Square - Aladdin's - which looks totally dodgy but has fantastic, relatively inexpensive dishes. It's halal too so no pork on the menu :)

I think nothing beats a home cooked dinner, though ;-)

Thanks all. We would like convenience to have someone cook for 2-3 times per week. We both work high pressured jobs at the end if day standing in front of a stove is desired on the weekends. Appreciate the suggestions.
