Temporary DH - Any ideas

We have had a part time helper here in Hong Kong for the last 4 years. She is absolutly wonderful, but due to some additions to the family we really needed to get a full time helper which our current helper is not able to accomidate. We have gone through the process of bringing in a full time helper using an agency and so far things are moving along. But on Friday last week our current part time helper told us that come this friday, she cannot work for us for 1 month while her husband goes on Holiday (she needs to be home to take care of the kids). Truth or not, we are in a bit of a bind here...


By the end of this week, we need to find a helper that is full or part time that can work with us for at least the next month or 2 depending on how much longer the immigration department takes. We have gone through many of the postings here on Asia Expat, but most of the helpers listed here are looking for longer terms roles and / or need assistance with getting visa's.


Anyone have any ideas for short-term full or part time help? Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, our current part time helper is legal as she is a resident in Hong Kong. Do you know how to find out who the officer is that is handling our case?
