Shame on the employer abusing the maid with physical threats.

Shame on the employee abusing the employer's resources and trust.

Every ethnic has good and bad people.

It is up to us to inject trust and care to each other with good relationship building every day.

Let us all do our best to pave the bridge between two interested parties.

By the way, shame on the poor individual who polluted the harmonious environment of the other 99.99% of employers and employees.

chinese people in indonesia was massacred several yrs ago and almost driven out in the country. the reason for this is the maltreatment of chinese employer on their indonesian laborer. i believed this is one of the reason.

hmm..this was not even in the commin memory of citizen here. i doubt very much this is the "collective" reason for the cause that should be the individual poor character.

by the way, ironically, about indonesian

AsiaXdreamy,

Can you make your comments make some sort of sense please.

1. How can there be any shame on these poor Indonesian helpers, how could you even suggest either of them abused their employer's trust? What, for reporting such abuse?

2. And why is it ironic about Indonesians being abused? Do you mean it is much more usual for Indonesians to be abusers?

You sound quite bitter, and insensitive to others ' plights.

How about support of abused people and showing some human decency eh?

I am wondering if the helpers, elderly employer had Altzheimers or some similar disease, to one minute ask if the helper was comfortable, then apparently beat her, this is not the action of a sane person.

What her employer did was not the 'norm' for most people employing Indonesian maids, or any other nationality of maid, the majority of people treat helpers very well.

Sorry, was typing when walking, here is the clearer version.

Shame on the employer abusing the maid with physical threats.

( Shame on all ethnics of employers doing this bad acts)

Shame on the employee abusing the employer's resources and trust.

( Shame on all ethnics of employees doing this bad acts)

Both sentences means -- > Every ethnic has good and bad people. It is up to us to inject trust and care to each other with good relationship building every day.Let us all do our best to pave the bridge between two interested parties.By the way, shame on the poor individual who polluted the harmonious environment of the other 99.99% of employers and employees.

(Don't just take side to criticize either party, to show empathy and respect to

opposite side is a way of building up happier life and harmony)

2nd message :

hmm..this was not even in the common memory of citizen here. i doubt very much this is the "collective" reason for the cause that should be the individual poor character.

(since most of the HK residents even do not know about the "massacre" , how come the individual abusing case becomes the result of such "massacre", the one who did bad to that helper should be blamed, not all the citizens/employers)

by the way, ironically, about indonesian ( it could not show the whole sentence...now type again.....

by the way, ironically, about indonesian, it so happened between employer and Indonesian so the story teller linked the individual past event to be the cause of such beating.

Apologize for making it not so clear. Thanks for asking.

The point is to be rational and show empathy to each others. Not all employers are bad, not all helpers are bad, both should do decent things under the same roof in the eyes of God.

Right?

Just to do better ourselves for respect any ethnic can release the tension.
