Please advise, as I am new to the Hiring process

Hi all,

I am looking for a helper to help look after my elderly father (97 years old). I live in the UK and am unfamiliar with the processes involved. I called a few agencies but they want me to provide them with a proof of my income from a Hong Kong employer. As I work in the UK, I am unable to meet this requirement.

Would any of you know if there are any alternative ways I can go about hiring help for my Dad in Hong Kong? Can I hire them direct via HongKong Expat here? If so, would my proof of income in the form of a UK payslips be sufficient pls?

I would really appreciate any advice as I have taken a week's leave to visit my Dad who is unwell and I am due to travel back to the UK soon.
