Release Date??

My helper's 2 year contract finishes at the beginning of September my husband and I have decided not to renew, I'm confused about the release date. Is the release date the same as the contract end date? Thanks for any replies.

What is the LAST date of visa chopped to you domestic helpers passport? The last day of visa can be the release date of your helper. But date varies when the helper hasn't take the 14 day annual leave vacation. So, LAST DATE OF VISA minus days of annual leave can be the release date of your helper.


Please be careful in issuing a date because terminated contract is different from completed contract.

It will be devastating for helpers if they are expecting to complete the contract but only to find out that they will be terminated a month before their completion date for that reason.Confusion on issuing a release date.
