I can recommend a few helpers for you. For your information, employment agencies should always be the last choice for finding a good helper for your family. Bear in mind that they earn more money from more turnover. They do not have a real interest in matching helpers and employers who are so happy with each other that they do not hire new helpers for years and years. Always try to ask around from friends and neighbours first. That is not a guarantee of success yet the chance will be higher.

The responsibilities of employers are not clearly laid out regarding working hours, rest time, and all that. basically you can horribly abuse your domestic helper and get away with it, under Hong Kong's virtually unregulated domestic work system. But the regulations that exist, you can easily get from the Labour and Immigration Departments. here are some documents to start with: www.labour.gov.hk/eng/public/wcp/FDHguide.pdf

The person I know who could work for you is in the Philippines now, I know her well and you could speak with her by phone or Skype. She has worked in HK for many years, is around 40, very cheerful, reliable..
