Getting a Legal part-time helper

I've put up an ad here for a part-time domestic helper. I would have used one of the agencies but they are taking their sweet time returning my phone calls and I'm in crutches looking at my dirty house.

There seems to be a lack of information about how someone goes about hiring a part-time helper. So my questions are:

1. Do I have to sign a contract with them?

2. Do I need to have insurance to cover them?

3. Do I have to pay into an MPF?

4. Is there anything else I need to know about doing this?

Thanks

Please try Merry maids

Iwas very happy with their services and were very flexible to suit my days and times

Ask to speak to Mandy

If you go through the labour website , then you have to have an insurance cover ,etc etc

Good luck
