End of contract Question

Is my helpers end of contract date 2 years from when she signed the contract or 2 years from when they actually started work.

For example contract signed 16 Sept but started work 3 November due to waiting for visa to be approved so do they work until september or november?

If I release early which Immigration said I can do up to 4 weeks in advance, do I pay them until end of contract or until release date?
