Termination, final payment and annual leave

Hi everyone

Our helper terminated her contract to return home to study and she will have worked with us for 8 months when she leaves next week. I'm unsure about the final payments due to her. Is she entitled to annual leave only after working for 12 months or should we be paying pro rata for the 8 months she has worked? THe only example I can find given by immigration is for a DH who has worked for 18 months. We will probably be giving her some extra to help her get settled into her studies but would really like to know what we should legally provide beforehand.
