need an advice urgently!!!!!!!

Need an advice on our problem.We hired a male to be our domestic helper.We started our proccessing on the begginning of August.We understand that this time they need a lot of requirements,everything has been sent to them,financial proof,reason on why we hired a male helper, justification on why we hired a male helper,everything.

We really need him urgently since our last helper already left for good on July.Since everything has been sent so we thought they will approve his visa already.

The other day I called up the officer in charged to follow up and he said he cant approved the visa yet because our house need to be recognize by the Housing Authority as it is an elevated rooftop. What the heck???? I felt like he is just delaying my application.I sent him a letter to beg that I really need our helper urgently since no one is taking care of my two girls ( 9yrs old & 6 yrs old).

Me and my husband are working couple and this officer dont not understand.

Please advice on what else we can do.

thanks Cara, I live in a 700 sqr feet flat,our Landlord is so creative and made some more rooms on half of our rooftop.Besides this gonna be our 3rd helper in 8 yrs and I dont understand why suddenly the officer required us that crap.We just rented the place,if he think our rooftop is some kind of illegal then it got nothing to do with our application.The fact that we can provide them our income proof that we can afford to hire a helper and we can provide him a decent acommodation is good enough to satisfy thier requirements.


Its very difficult to just move out.And I cant do a household chores / taking care of my children / attending thier needs/ and do my job at the same time.It is so tiring. I just wish that the officer in charge with the application can be more considerate with my situation.He can check my last helper left for good on July 7th and we started to process the new application right away....
