Does anyone have information on relocating your helper with you to France? The French consulate website has details on short stay visa but I'm wondering if long stay visas are possible as we hope to continue her contract with us on a contract basis in France. Also, any information on the wages and any extras that the French govt. requires for employment of a full time helper? Thanks in advance!

Your HK domestic helper contract is not valid anywhere else. Employment of a domestic helper in France would come under French labour laws, and I think they are going to be a bit 'tougher' on the employer than are the HK laws.
