I have a good friend who is about to lose her contract because her Chinese employer is moving away. She is worried about losing her visa because she is pregnant and feels she is unlikely to get a new contract in that condition. Of course, she can't stay in HK to have the baby without a visa - Catch 22. Any suggestions for keeping a visa or work opportunities (with visa). She is a wonderful and reliable person and it's such a shame if she has to return to Philipinnes because she won't be able to return with her baby if it is not born in HK.

marry her...LOL.....kidding...find an employer for her, thats the only solution. But normally immigration department now asking for the medical certificate of the DH before they gonna process the visa...its one of the documents needed.
