how to get a visa quickly

I have a full time helper since two months. For many reasons, we want to fire her.

I prefer to fire her immediately (but will pay her 1 month wages + all the wages). The new helper I have found as no working visa yet (but she has already worked in HK).

How can we do to employ the new helper as quick as possible? Is there a way to get quick a working visa?

Thanks

What kind of visa does she have?

Is she a PR? She can work any time.

Has she been terminated? The soonest she can get a visa -- in 4-6 weeks waiting for it in outside of HK.

Has she finished contract? Provide a supporting letter to the Immi and they will allow her to work for you immedietly.

The new helper has already finished her previous contract. She comes from philipines.

Do you have a sample of letter?

PR -- Permanent Resident.

If she finished her full 2-year contract and agrees to start working for you as soon as possible, without going for holidays first, it's not a problem. There is no sample of a letter. You need to give a good reason why you need her urgently. In my case, my husband worked full-time, I got a full-time job unexpectedly, we did not have any relatives, therefore because of our 6 yo daughter we needed a DH ASAP. That was what we stated in the letter.

However, since you still haven't terminated you DH, I doubt the Immi will start processing the new one.

If your DH has just finished or is finishing her employment contract here in HK, the DH will allow you to process her new contract with you 28 days prior to the expiration of her current contract and the processing of her visa at the Immigration Department will take around 3 to 4 weeks. If your DH is not holding any working visa here in HK / presently in overseas, then the processing will be 4 to 6 weeks in the immigration Department. Either case, you have to send the contract first to the Phil. Consulate before you can process the working visa at the I.D. If you go thru an agency, they'll help you write a letter to the I.D. requesting them to expedite the maid's working visa. They'll do everything for you and you need not worry anything else. All you have to do is supply them with all the necessary documents and inform them immediately as soon as you get that call from the I.D. If you need an agent, I'd gladly recommend my sister's agent, Mary. She's helpful and she does speak the Filipino language. So if you can't get your maid to fully get your point, she can immediately help you with it. You may call her at 6283 7299. Good Luck!
