Do we have to raise their salary if we renew their contract after 2 years of employment ?
If yes, what is the expected raise ?
Thanks for your feedback

You don't have too and i would say it depends if you have given any raise at any time since they started with you and what your paying them already. If your paying min wage then i would think a wage increase would be in order and would go a long way in keeping your helper happy and willing to stay with you.
If your paying more than min then a smaller increase could be given to show your appreciation.
This is all based on the assumption you must be happy with her if your renewing.

...but I'd still only show the minimum wage in the actual contract. What you pay over and above that amount is then up to you.

If i was a helper and had agreed a pay rise with my employer i would expect my contract to say so otherwise they could lie about it if there are problems later. What your alking about TC sounds more like a bonus than just regular salary level.

hi
out in the workforce, when we do our job and self appraisals, salary is usually looked at as well. i think increasing your employees (in this case helpers) salary will give her a feeling of goodwill, appreciation for the job, heightened interest and more initiative to do it better. that's usually the case. (like moppet said, i assume you are happy with her??)
i think it is a good idea to put the salary on the contract, just to make it official.
