Safety harness for window cleaning?

I have recently hired a new helper & wish for her to clean my flat's very large windows inside & out. However, I am uncomfortable asking her to do this without a safety harness as I live on the 45th floor. I have washed the windows myself a handful of times & you do have to stand on the sill & lean out to reach the middle of the windows. Wow, was I was terrified! Can anyone help me by naming a store where I could purchase a harness or is there another option that others have used with success? Thank you!

Thank you omaharrison! The magnetic window cleaner sounds like a great idea and a much better option for my helper & I!

The small cleaner/scraper used for car windscreen is another option. It has a flat rubber edge. My helper sprays window cleaner on the window and then scrapes/wipes down the window with the rubber edge.

To extend the length, you can add wood/metal extension.

I know I'm pulling up an old thread but anyone got any ideas of how to clean the outside of a very dirty, wide window on a high floor? I don't want my helper leaning out and I've just moved to a new place so it's not cleaning well even the bits she can reach...looks like very old dirt that needs a good scrub! Anyone hire window cleaners? thanks all

I got the same problem, and I'm resigned to leaving it dirty. Since I can't clean it, I am not expecting my part-time helper to clean it either.
