We're getting relocated to Beijing for one year and would love to bring our helper with us (she's willing to go). Any advice on how to do it?

I have had a very bad personal experience with my helper very recently.I used to take her overseas with me to take care of my mother and now she has threatened to take me to the courts of hkg, as the contract has been signed here.Hence, my advice to you, please make everything clear with her,like get something in writing, that she is going on her own accord with you to china etc.later on, she shud not claim that you took her illegally to china.

As they are relocating to beijing rather than going on holiday i don't think the same rules apply, basically you need to contact the chinese embassy and ask them if it's possible although with so many unemployed people i would be surprised if they would allow it.
