My current helper started workign for us on the 2nd of September last year. She will finish her employment with us on the 1st of September next year. I do not wish to renew her contract after this.
I found a really lovely helper recommended by a friend who will finish contract in April next year.
The new helper does not mind waiting until my helper finishes her contract - well, this is according to my friend.
So here's my question.
When is the earliest I could release my old helper and still be under the "finished contract" term?

As I understand it, no more than one month prior to the scheduled end date of the contract
