Hi,
We are are a married couple expecting a new baby in September. We are looking for a live out maid, possibly from Monday - Friday mainly to care for our baby while we are at work. Are such helpers available and if so roughly what are the costs involved?

Just to clarify Ed's comment, Foreign Domestic Helpers may not live out.
However "local" helpers, that is helpers with permanent residency or citizenship, may live out. These are relatively rare. They range from an untrained person to professional nannies. The latter is quite expensive.
For better or for worse, HK is geared towards Foreign Domestic Helpers and any other option tends to be harder to work out, not to mention far more expensive.
