Faxing forms to immigration?

ORIGINAL POST

I have just terminated the contract with my DH and need to inform immigration. Can anyone tell me whether I can fax the forms to immigration (and if so do you know the number as all I can find is a general fax number?) or whether they need to be taken there in person??

Thanks

Yes, you can fax them. I'll go and have a look for the number as I've got it somewhere [music plays softly in background].

Sorry, just realised the file with all of this stuff in it is elsewhere and cannot be accessed at the moment. If you need the number (I don't think it was the same as the general enquiry number) quickly give the ID a call and ask them for it, because you definitely can fax it. I know of at least 2 cases where the employer even asked the terminated helper to deliver the letter personally - and the helper has a vested interest in NOT doing that, so some form of personal delivery is preferred.
