termination process

Hello,


My helper gave us one monthe notice stating that she wants to go back to Indonesia. We decided to send her back home tomorrow (Dec 5) since she has no more energy for work.


Both my helper and i sent the fax to the Immigration yesterday about the termination.


Since she gave one month notice to us on Nov 22, her last day will be Dec 22, and her VISA will expire on Jan 05. Anyway, she will be out of town tomorrow.


At the same time, we already sign up with a new helper, and she is going to go to Immigration next Wed. Agency said we can start to proceed next Wed, but is it true?


Since I am working, I urgently need a new helper. Hope she can come to our hosue asap.


It is my 1st experience, so I need your advice. I want to know what happens, and if the process with new helper can go thru without any problems!!!

if you provide the immigration with the required forms and supporting documents then it will be processed without any problems. the new helper cannot work for you till the immigration approves her application. i suggest you send them a request letter to speed up the process when you apply for your new helper's application.
