Passport renewed, but visa in old passport - what to do?

My DH renewed her passport 10 months ago - but her HK residency/work visa is in her old passport. Does she need to get a new visa (not due to expire until April 2009), or can she travel with both the old and new passports, and just show the immigration officers the HK residency/work visa in the old passport?
