We've had our helper for five months now and she will be taking vacation for two weeks soon. My question is how many paid vacation days are we required to give. Or can anybody reference a specific site that can give me the required information. Thanks so much.

You do not have to give here any paid vacation days within the first year of her contract. You have to give her her weekly rest days, of course, and statutory holidays.

The helper accrues seven paid vacation days during the first year. You are not required to give any of those during the first year but she still accrues the days, meaning they will be taken later.
