Am I digging my own grave??

Hi all,


Here's a new one, I am talking to this prospective DH who got married recently, so is keen on living-out, her only requirement, as she says from a prospective employer. Her hubby is in HKG, so understandably they want to live together in a boarding house. Furthermore, she has stated that she has no plans of getting pregnant, but, should that happen, she will give a month's notice and resign, wanting to go back to her country etc.,


My quandary is this- I have excellent live-in quarters for helper, however, only for helper and not their spouse, awful as it may sound but that is it. I do not really need her through the night, so she can leave, though I am aware that such arrangement, strictly speaking is unlawful. She says she has no intention of getting pregnant followed by, if she does, then she would resign....leads me to wonder?? She looks like a lovely person, but haven't I read one-too-many threads with the same refrain??


I do not want a new helper only to have to go through the whole process in a few months/days time(or maybe never,but to have that thought in my head all the time), all over again??


Should I seek another one?


Any thoughts??

I agree with Cara, don't do it.

Gee Ed, thanks for the ban and deletion and thanks lace, did follow up and called the lady to say thanks but no thanks, it all went alright. Case closed.

find another helper
