legal babysitting until DH is hired?

Hello,


I have 3 kids younger than 4 years old and am still looking for a DH. I know I will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks before the DH can start the job after signing the contract. I know how to hire a maid legaly meanwhile, but she can't cook nor babysit. How can I find someone to help me and give me some air without being illegal?? Thanks for anybody's help...

Anyone with permanent HKID can do it, though presumably - with kids so young - you're not going to hire a freelancer unless she's recommended by a close friend of yours. (If you do, remember you should have employers insurance.)



Otherwise, it's agencies like rent-a-mum; but they ain't cheap c.$150/hour.
