does the domestic helper have to leave the country within one year

Do all helpers have to leave for their original country of residence within one year or can they go to China or macau instead? My helper has it stamped on her passport.Just wondering if someone has experience in handling this situation.

I was just about to type the same question Zara.

I am about to renew my helper's contract. If she can go to China or Macau... does anyone know how long?

Does she need to do anything special at the border?
