Any advice gratefully received. I have booked a flight back to Sri Lanka for my helper on Air Asia, via Kuala Lumpur. I have just found out Sri Lankans can't even land without some sort of visa, even if they are only transiting.
There are a lot of confusing notices from the Malaysian government about Air Asia passengers being able to apply for a transit visa at KK, but only, it seems, if they are flying from China, Australia, Japan and a few other countries.
Do I need to get a full visa for my helper? And does anyone know the time period / cost for this? She flies next Saturday! Very worried.

As i heard passengers who sponsored by air asia and Malaysia Airlines still can get the facility transits with out visa ,,,not 100% sure about that..... i am a srilankan my self ,one of my friend traveled last week through kuala lampur by air asia but have no idea weather he got any visa or not ,, unfortunately unable to contact him at the moment for more details ,,,, :(
