Starting time

If I would like my helper to start at 7 am should she be showered etc by then or is it ok for her to come out then put the kettle on then disappear to shower etc?

If you want her to start at 7, she should be showered and ready to go at 7.

It depends - if after putting the kettle on there's nothing else for her to do for 20 mins then why not shower then? If there's work for her to do then she should shower first.

I would suggest she showers first so she is ready if needed.

My God. She can start whenever you ask her to provided it is reasonable. She works for you!!

Mine gets up at 5:30am, puts the water in the boiler then goes back to change. She would then cook lunch for my daughter to be taken to school. She usually takes a shower after cleaning the whole house. She rests quite a bit during the day as my daughter doesn't come home till 4:00pm. She drinks coffee, sleeps and etc. Fine with me as long as she finishes her stuff. Has been working out really well. A lot of the times it is common sense.
