We need to have a mattress custom made as our Amah's room can't quite fit a standard size mattress. Does anyone know where we can have one made to order in Hong Kong?

Many of the chinese style bedding shops make matteresses if you go in and ask. A few years ago we had 2 made for a very large bed ( we had been quoted $7k + in places like The Banyan Tree) in a shop down Shanghai street, it cost us $1,500 for the 2 including delivery. But beware chinese mattresses tend to be very firm, so if you ask for firm it will be rock hard, better to ask for soft!

Sorry don't know the name, it was quite a long time ago. But I think most of the chinese bedding places do them.

"Sea Horse" has mattress which is 2/5 feet in width
