We have a fantastic helper in HK, coming to end of 2-year contract, when we'll be moving to Singapore. Does anyone know the procedure for bringing helper with us? Is it straightforward?

Not a direct answer but something that both you and your helper should know is that the DH wages in SG are considerably lower than in HK. Your helper might be thinking that you are going to continue paying her at the same rate as now, and you might be thinking otherwise. Best to get that little issue clarified before progressing too far. And if you have a look at the Singapore forum I think you'll find a few threads with information you are seeking. Good luck.

Thanks, but situation has just changed anyway, as helper cannot come with us now for personal reasons. But will lookat Singapore forum to find new helper!
