How can I stop this?!

Hi there,

I had a domestic helper for 6 months who was a pain right from the first week. However, as I was highly pregnant with a frequently travelling husband, 2 other kids and a dog I could not release her when I should have done so.

While she was in our service it emerged that she had trouble with her family and the financing of her house back home (she was single, no kids).

She finally handed in her resignation herself and said that she needs to return home to fix her problems.

Since she has left we get these phone calls from financial companies trying to get money back (phone bills, nothing big). These calls are so annoying that I called the police. Since then it became less.

However, I get constant emails from this ex-helper. In one she excused the trouble and promised to pay back her loans the other one was send from a website called FanBox. Is there any legal basis how to stop this?!

Has anyone had a similar incident? What can I do to stop this?

Mark the emails as spam and they'll go directly to your junk and then you never have to see them.

when we were in the same situation and the calls came (always at dinner time), i told them she had left the country, asked them who they were and said i had notified the police about harrassment. repeated calls when they knew my helper had left constituted harrassment. the calls stopped.

when i get emails i don't like, i just block them or the address.

sorry this is such a hassle for you.
