Does anyone know if we can take our domestic helper with us to Australia when we go there for a holiday, we would like to take her for baby sitting and to help out as we will have to visit the Sydney office every day for a few hours for work while we are there even though we are on holiday.

thanks

I would imagine you would have to ask the Australian embassy, as your helper would probably need a visitors permit, I am not sure how long a visitors permit would be, there may be a time limit for her nationality.

We did this 5-6 years ago, so not sure if the process is the same, but i imagine it would be. You definitely will need a permit from the Australian embassy to get permission for her. From memory, she will only get one month though.
