Taking DH to UK for a week

I'd like my DH to accompany me to the UK for a week to help me with my newborn as I have to fly by myself.


However she has only worked for us 5 months and the UK visa requirements are that she must have been working for us for at least 12 months. I have her flight booked showing that she is coming back after one week - is there anything we can do to get around this requirement?
