Christmas holiday?

Sorry if this is a silly question but as Boxing day (26th) falls on a Sunday does that mean that helpers should get Saturday, Sunday and then Monday off too? Just trying to finalise our plans.

Neither 26th nor 27th are Statutory Holidays and thus not mandatory. For that matter, the 25th can be substituted for 22nd.


As per the Labour Dept website: "12. Chinese Winter Solstice Festival (22 December) or Christmas Day (25 December) (at the option of the employer)"

26th and 27th are General Holidays and as such optional for helpers.
