Airticket or cash equivalent

I would like to know at the end of an employment contract, is it better to issue an airticket or give a cash equivalent? If an airticket is issued and later became invalid as she had extended her stay or decided to leave at a later date, could she still demand a new airticket? I was told an open ticket with a change of date condition can only be valid upto 2 weeks from the fixed date. Also, could she do the same with cash equivalent, say if there was a fare increase at a later date? Thx in advance.

Buy her a ticket. Its evidence.

Whether or not she gets on the plane is her problem

Since DH can defer their exit to their country of origin before thry start a new contract, they have the right to demand for cash instead of airticket, they can reject airticket for cash equivalent, even the airticket is purchased ! If they agree to accept airticket, put everything in black and white & get them (DH) to sign b4 they change their mind, DH have more rights than employer !... If there are doubts, can always check with immigration/labour dept hotlines, even their websites r very informative, don't check with agents though...
