Is the correct form for extending a dependent visa is form 997?
I just realized that my three kids' HK visas expired last week, so missed the window for a smooth online-reservation and processing. Now they are overdue, and we have a major vacation in 2 weeks. So I am stressed. I will go to Wanchai tomorrow morning to resolve but need my ducks in order. I need to make sure I have the right forms filled out!

I am Caucasian. I got a mild lecture about how it is an offense. I needed form 91 and 481A, if anyone else stumbled on this. Also, though there are no instructions, a parent needs to sign a form 91 if the child is under 16, and the non-sponsor parent can sign it. Hope that helps someone.

yes, its all good if you are a caucasian, I have done it several times, just download the forms from immigration website, fill them up, print them and take then with you.
it should the sponsoring payment if I remember correctly because visa would be getting extended on his behalf, I could be wrong though.
I remember the forms had instructions along with it, you can easily figure it out, its nothing major.
