Santa Sack?

ORIGINAL POST

I am looking for a BIG sack for my kid's Xmas. The type of thing I am looking for is an oldfashioned/ huge (e.g. 1.5 metre long/ 1 metre wide) brown woven durable sack (e.g. potatoe sack)that I can use for many Xmas's to come. Ideally I would like to also get his name embroided/ sewn on the front.

Any ideas?

making it custom made would probalby be the best. Get some fabric that you like and have a seamstress just sew it up. Shouldn't be too expensive this way either.

Conveneint option - Buy the fabric at Western Market and go to a tailor in WorldWide House....

Cheapest Option - Shenzhen, but factor in transport costs and time....

I bought mine several years ago from an Aussie woman at the DBIS Food Fair in DB. She appears to be there every year, but sells different handmade Xmas bit and pieces each time. As far as I know, the fair is on the 2nd Dec this year and she can normally be found just outside the hall area.
