HK Yeti

Well not quite. I was walking my dog late at night on Shiu Fai Terrace when an unrecognisable large animal ran across the road. It was a combo of an otter (long thick tail), monitor lizard (long body 6-9" off the ground & retriever (short haired blond coat). What on earth is it? It has very powerful legs as it ran up an 80 degree slope with ease!

Interesting thought. However based on your web link, which suggested that mongooses were 30-40cm, this chap must have been on steroids cos it was up to 4 feet in length! :)
